What to Expect

After you complete the form, one of our patient liaisons will email or call you within two business days. They will ask you basic questions about your diagnosis and recent treatments. They may ask for the date of your most recent MRI or CT scan.

After you schedule an appointment, we may ask you to bring your medical records with you. If you do not have your records, or do not know how to get them, our patient liaison can help.

Your second opinion appointment will last about one hour. A nurse will review your medical history to learn about your condition. Then, you'll meet with a physician who specializes in your condition. They will ask you about your condition and how it impacts your life. The physician will also ask you about any the treatments you’ve received and their results.

You’ll leave with a detailed treatment plan for your specific condition. You can take as much time as you need to review and consider your plan. You do not need to make any more appointments unless you want to follow the proposed treatment plan.
